Uptown Players continues its 21st season with the world premiere of  Silver Foxes, a comedy about an ensemble of queer men who rescue their best friend from a homophobic assisted living facility. The three older men plus their buddy's younger Twink lover, navigate stray cats, online hook up sites and the real estate ravenous lesbian couple next door to become a fabulous de facto family in an iconic mid-century Palm Springs house.

Dallas theatre company, Uptown Players continues its 21st season with the world premiere of  Silver Foxes, actor, director, producer, and host Michael Urie returns to his hometown in North Texas to direct the project.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Shane Peterman and Associate Producer Elizabeth Kensek are proud to announce casting and creative details for The Taming, the all-female political comedy by playwright Lauren Gunderson.

The cast of Fun Home includes Duke Anderson, Leslie Collins, Michael Diego Alonzo, Hunter Hall, Jennifer Kuenzer, Max Rudelman, Summer Stern, Emily Truelove, and Ashlie Whitworth. The show is under the direction of Cheryl Denson, with music direction by Isaac Leaverton.

On Friday, August 20, Summer Stern will take to the stage as Little Alison in Uptown Players’s production of the musical Fun Home, roughly a full year since the show’s original opening was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The production runs August 20-29 at the Kalita Humphreys Theatre.
