Porchlight Music Theatre’s free summer concert series Broadway in your Backyard starring Broadway veterans and recent Porchlight “New Faces,” now in its third year, is now playing through August 8, as part of Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, supported by the Mayor’s Office and Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and Comcast and Xfinity. Lincoln Ave. Brooks will be performing with her six piece band including Kevin Disch, piano; Jim Cox, bass; Eric Monzka, drums and Doug Schuler on trumpet leading the horn section. Three Cat Productions celebrates the birthday of the legendary Barbra Streisand with the third annual 'Bab Fab: The Barbra Streisand Birthday Celebration'. It kicks off on April 23rd with a Streisand connoisseur Matt Howe, and then continues with two great performances of Streisand's work on April 24th and 25th. All performances can be found at the Skokie Theatre Music Foundation. A portion of the proceeds benefit BEHIV and Three Cat Education.

Drury Lane Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL, presents the winner of 2002's 'Best Musical' Tony Award THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, directed by Artistic Director William Osetek. THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE previews October 22, opens October 29 and runs through December 20. Holly Ann Butler will star as 'Millie', who recently finished the first National Tour of JERSEY BOYS as 'Lorraine'.
