Finishing law school can be a daunting challenge, as almost any lawyer can attest. W. Ron Adams did it while confined to a wheelchair, without use of his hands and legs, after a coal mining accident left him a quadriplegic at the age of 19.

'Ronnie' Adams woke up face-down on the gritty ground, three miles inside a Kentucky coal mine, unable to move his arms or legs. The 19-year-old miner had lost control of the coal cart he was driving, causing him to become wedged between the low ceiling of the dark tunnel and the machine beneath him.

A star cast will join Brian Conley in the new, musical staged concert of Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent's A Christmas Carol, which is set to play a strictly limited season at the Dominion Theatre in London. Performances run from Monday 7 December 2020 to Saturday 2 January 2021.

La Compagnia dell'Alba ha portato in scena la versione musicata nel 1994 da Alan Menken, il pluripremiato compositore di tanti film della Disney con impeccabile professionalita e in collaborazione con il Teatro Stabile D'Abruzzo e la New Step di Americo Di Francesco e Paola Lancioni.

This evening's performance is a benefit concert to support Greenwich House Music School. As a community music school, GHMS serves the musical needs of students of all ages in addition to hosting a wide spectrum of concerts, readings, education workshops and meetings for local civic and cultural organizations, as well as providing affordable rehearsal and performance space for local musicians. The School offers $50,000 in arts education scholarships and public school outreach each year, adhering to its 113 year commitment to arts education.

Despite being a decade-long tradition in New York, Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens' musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol had never previously been staged in London. Based on Charles Dickens' classic novella, the story we all know and love is brought to life with a thrilling score. This week LMTO brought the musical to the Lyceum Theatre (home of the West End production of The Lion King) for a one-night-only concert staging.
