Olathe Civic Theatre Association continues its 2017-2018 season with Superior Donuts by Tracy Letts, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of August: Osage County. With Superior Donuts, Letts shifts from the highly charged physical tone and dark humor of his previous works, but retains his contemporary flavor with a lighter touch to address complex social issues. OCTA's stage will transform into a Chicago donut shop for the three-weekend run of this KC area premiere April 6-22.

Kansas City Actors Theatre (KCAT) continues their Season 12 staged reading series with a free script-in-hand staged reading of Dylan Thomas's comic 'play for voices,' Under Milk Wood on Sunday, April 23rd at 2:00 pm at the H&R Block City Stage in Union Station.

The remainder of the cast includes Joshua Balm, Katie Bartow, Patrick Beasley, Elizabeth Birger, Beth Borders, Andy Garrison, Dalton Homolka, Evan Lovelace, Ethan Miller, Eric Morris, Brooke Myers, Fisher Stewart, Jackson Tomlin, and Kyra Weinberger. 

Fresh from celebrating its 40th anniversary of providing quality children's programming to Kansas City's young people on October 4th with a spectacular gala, Theatre for Young America opens its 41st season with a favorite children's tale, The Adventures of Nate the Great. The play will run from today, October 21 through November 15, 2014 on the H&R Block City Stage, on level B in Union Station. Union Station is located at 30 W. Pershing Road in Kansas City,Missouri 64108.

The book will be available for purchase at that time, as well as two other of Mr. Dixon's works: Phil Dixon's American Baseball Chronicles, Great Teams, The 1931 Homestead Grays, Volume I and Wilber 'Bullet' Rogan and the Kansas City Monarchs.
