Filmed Version of KINKY BOOTS Will Be Released on Blu-Ray This Spring


Everybody say yeah! Kinky Boots is strutting back to the screen, this time on Blu-Ray. The filmed version of the West End production will be released on May 25, 2021 by Liberator Films.

KINKY BOOTS Will Be Screened In Cinemas Across The UK And Ireland


More2Screen today announces the cinema release of the critically acclaimed Kinky Boots The Musical, the winner of every Best Musical award, which will be screened in more than 600 cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 4 and 9 February 2020. With songs from Grammy and Tony award winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, book by legendary Broadway playwright Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray), Kinky Boots The Musical stars the original West End leads, Matt Henry and Killian Donnelly. KINKY BOOTS West End to Be Filmed for Worldwide Screening, Donnelly & Henry Return to Cast


A hit with audiences since it opened in September 2015, Kinky Boots, the winner of every major Best Musical award, today announces that the London production will be filmed later this month for future worldwide screening. Original West End cast members Killian Donnelly and Matt Henry will return to play the roles of Charlie and Lola respectively.
