A hit with audiences since it opened in September 2015, Kinky Boots, the winner of every major Best Musical award, today announces that the London production will be filmed later this month for future worldwide screening.

Original West End cast members Killian Donnelly and Matt Henry will return to play the roles of Charlie and Lola respectively from Monday 26 - Wednesday 28 November 2018 whilst filming takes place. Both actors were nominated for an Olivier Award whilst in the production with Matt Henry winning the Olivier Award for Best Actor in A Musical for his portrayal of Lola.

After celebrating its third birthday in the West End in September, Kinky Boots will play its final performance at London's Adelphi Theatre on 12 January 2019 after over 1400 performances. The cast for the final London performances includes Abbey Addams, Jak Allen-Anderson, Jed Berry, Louis Clarke-Clare, Momar Diagne, Daniel Downing, David Haydn, Cordelia Farnworth, Jemal Felix, Jordan Fox, Rossie Glossop, Robert Grose, Keith Higham, Ben Jennings, Robert Jones, Graham Kent, Suzie McAdam, Natalie McQueen, Sean Needham, Emma Odell, Christopher Parkinson, Hannah Price, Anthony Reed, Simon-Anthony Rhoden, Jon Reynolds, Tom Scanlon, Oliver Tompsett, Anna Stolli and Olivia Winterflood.

Kinky Boots is also on a hugely successful, extensive UK tour through to November 2019. The tour is currently at Manchester Opera House until 1 December, followed by Edinburgh Playhouse from 10 December - 5 January 2019 and will then then visit major cities including Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool. Since opening on Broadway in 2013, Kinky Boots has become an international hit with productions having played in Canada, Australia, Germany and Japan.

With a book by Broadway legend and four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage aux Folles), songs by Grammy and Tony Award-winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray), this joyous musical celebration is about the friendships we discover, and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.

Kinky Boots has won three Olivier Awards in 2016 for Best New Musical, Best Costume Design and Best Actor in a Musical. Kinky Boots also won the London Evening Standard BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical as well as three WhatsOnStage Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical and Best Choreography.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from a gentlemen's shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father's expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the factory's future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.

With direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde, Hairspray), Kinky Boots is the winner of every major Best Musical award including three Olivier Awards, three WhatsOnStage Awards as well as six Broadway TonyAwards.
