Signature Theatre presents Fires in the Mirror, by Obie, Drama Desk and MacArthur Award winner Anna Deavere Smith, featuring Michael Benjamin Washington (The Boys in the Band) and and directed by Saheem Ali.

Just last night, the Signature Theatre held its Annual Gala at The Pershing Square Signature Center (located at 480 West 42nd Street between 9th & 10th Avenues). The event celebrated the late Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee and honored the passionate and visionary leadership of former President of the Signature Board of Trustees, Michael Rauch. 

Signature Theatre presents the U.S. Premiere of And I and Silence by Naomi Wallace, directed by Caitlin McLeod. The production runs now through September 14, 2014. The show opened last night, August 25, in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Kathryn Lipuma, Executive Director) announced today that Beth Whitaker has been promoted to Associate Artistic Director after seven years with the company. In a newly created position, Jennie Greer has joined the staff as Director of Theatre Advancement.
