Ben Mehl is a Canadian-American stage and screen actor best known for his role as the blind librarian, Dante, in the hit Netflix series, “You.” He is also a passionate acting teacher in New York City. Mehl is proud to have had the opportunity to represent low vision characters on screen. While not fully blind, he has Stargardt’s disease and is legally blind.

Accomplished professional actors including Sue Jean Kim (theater: Aubergine; film: Maggie's Plan, Bachelorette), Omar Metwally (film: Twilight: Breaking Dawn II, Rendition; TV: "The Affair," "Mr. Robot"), Stephen O'Reilly ("Inside Amy Schumer," "Orange is the New Black," "Girls"), Annie Purcell (The Coast of Utopia, Awake & Sing) and others will perform in Infinity and Beyond: The Ultimate Plays, the Project's Fall 2016 Playmaking show.
