Les Michaels' Sundays in Summer Series welcomes the award-winning performer, Dean Regan in "Give My Regards to Broadway" on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2 PM at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert. Staged as a cabaret style concert, Dean's show is full of classic songs and new tunes currently on Broadway and features Charlie Creasy on piano. Tickets are available at the door for $11 cash only.

Dean Regan now hails from Los Angeles but worked on New York Broadway stages for ten years. A few of his shows include "Pirates Of Penzance", "Company" for which Dean received both the Garland Award and Drama Logue Award, and "Cabaret" where he won another Garland Award, "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying", "Man of La Mancha".

He performed this show recently at Carpenter Center for Performing arts to a sold out audience and the Los Angeles Times heralded him as "stunning and poignant" saying "when Dean Regan makes his entrance, you know you're in for a thrilling ride" and "his bewitching voice and comic timing have inspired audiences to dub him both Romantic Crooner and Court Jester of Song". Dean makes annual tours of performing arts centers, universities, and corporate events with a number of his one-man shows, but "Give My Regards To Broadway" remains his favorite and he's recently released a 13-song CD version. For the October 2nd show, local musical director, Charlie Creasy will be the pianist on the theater's baby grand.

"Give My Regards To Broadway" starring Dean Regan with Charlie Creasy on piano, will be presented at 2 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center at 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert. Presented by Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment as part of the Sundays In Summer Series. Tickets are $11 cash only and available at the box office, which opens at 1 PM with open seating at 1:30 PM. For more information call 760-325-2731.
