The Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is thrilled to announce its fall session of classes for youth and adults as well as exciting new events including an Education Open House, a Career in the Arts Panel, and a film & TV workshop with one of the Southeast's most respected actors and sought after acting coaches, Rus Blackwell.

Orlando Shakes is dedicated to creating educational experiences that build critical life skills in each participant and encourage creativity, collaboration, problem solving, concentration, public speaking, and a strong work ethic. These educational programs develop skills and talents that you can bring anywhere and will benefit students in everyday life as well as on stage. All sessions culminate in a presentation for friends and family on the last day.

Come out and play with the Education Team at Orlando Shakespeare Theater's Open House on September 18th at 10:00 a.m. Participants will meet this year's teaching artists, watch a "radio-play" style performance of The Princess and the Pea followed by a fun family acting game session and tour of the theaters. There is no charge for this event. Call (407) 447-1700 ext. 254 to reserve a spot for Orlando Shakespeare Theater's Open House.
