Mad Cow Theatre will present Tennessee Williams' Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, March 21 - April 20 in The Harriett Theatre.

In the course of one sultry evening, a prominent Southern dynasty is pushed to the brink when tender memories are relived and life-altering secrets are revealed. It's the 65th birthday of wealthy Southern plantation owner Big Daddy, and his family has gathered to celebrate. As one son, Brick, a hunky former football hero, mysteriously retreats from his desirable but sexually frustrated wife Maggie, his money hungry brother and sister-in-law plot to secure more than their share of the family fortune. Don't miss this Pulitzer Prize-winning gem by Tennessee Williams, one of the greatest playwrights in American history. Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is an emotionally intense drama that sizzles with passion and greed like you've never experienced before.

The cast of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof features the return of David Jachin Kelley (She Loves Me) as Brick and the Mad Cow debut of Summer Dawn Wallace in the role of Maggie. Also featured are Ron Schneider (Major Barbara, She Loves Me), Karel K. Wright (Collected Stories, Enchanted April), Amanda Leakey (Sunday in the Park with George, The Light in the Piazza), Stephen E. Middleton (The Seagull, The Cherry Orchard), Tommy Keesling (Table Manners, Enchanted April), and Michael G. Knight makes his mainstage debut after appearing in the Science Play Festival earlier this year. Filling out the children's roles are Ian Briggs and Kennedy Joy Foristall. Direction by Bobbie Bell (dir. August: Osage County, The Pitmen Painters).

Lighting design is by Erin Miner (The Road to Mecca, Enchanted April), costume design by Emily Smith (Venus in Fur, Billy Bishop Goes to War), set design by William Elliott (Death of a Salesman, Other Desert Cities), props design by Frank Siano (The Light in the Piazza, Collected Stories) and scenic painting by Lisa Buck (Enchanted April, The Light in the Piazza). Dil Smith (Table Manners) will stage manage and Karen Stephensen will assistant stage manage.
