Due to popular demand, Target Margin Theater has added two performances to the encore presentation of REREAD ANOTHER, based on Gertrude Stein's "REREAD ANOTHER A Play To Be Played Indoors or Out I Wish to Be a School." The two added performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 and Thursday, October 15, 2015 at The Brick (579 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn).

Last year, Target Margin Theater dedicated their season to the exploration of works created by the great American novelist, poet and playwright Gertrude Stein, and recently launched their 2015-2016 Season with the critically acclaimed encore presentation of REREAD ANOTHER directed by David Herskovits, featuring Clare Barron, Purva Bedi, and Ugo Chukwu. Performances began September 24, 2015 followed by opening night on September 28, 2015 for a limited engagement through Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Target Margin Theater revives REREAD ANOTHER -- performed only twice before, during the TMT LAB Series -- the critically-acclaimed, fun, fast-moving new work directed by David Herskovits. What's in it? Love and Loss and Holiday gifts; the remembrance of music past; we climb mountains; Clare plays Erik Satie on the piano; the leaves do fall. REREAD ANOTHER is the capstone in Target Margin's season of work by Gertrude Stein.

The creative team also includes Ásta Bennie Hostetter (Set/Costumes), Jennifer Reiser (Lights), Jesse Freedman (Sound Demon), with Flora Vassar (Stage Manager), Emilyn Kowaleski (Assistant Director), and Ann Marie Dorr (Production Manager).

REREAD ANOTHER, part of The Brick 2015 / 2016 Resident Artist Program, continues with the following performance schedule: October 7-10, and October 14-16 @ 7:30 p.m.; October 17 @ 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $30. Tickets for all performances are available at www.targetmargin.org or www.bricktheater.com.

Permission for the text has been granted by the Estate of Gertrude Stein, through its Literary Executor, Mr. Stanford Gann, Jr. of Levin & Gann, P.A.

Target Margin Theater, seeks continuously to expand its conception of what can take place in a theater. They celebrate difference and are drawn to experiences that are other, alien, and new: "all things counter, original, spare, strange." For 24 years they have been at the forefront of New York's alternative theater scene and have been praised for their bold and wild interpretations of classic dramas and lesser-known works. TMT has presented ambitious re-thinkings of plays by Shakespeare, Chekov, Brecht, Gertrude Stein, and Beaumarchais, among others. TMT has also created original works and new music / opera over the years and has served over 1,000 artists (mostly emerging) through its annual LAB. The company's production of Mamba's Daughters received an OBIE Award, and their epic 2004-06 production of Goethe's Faust received extensive critical acclaim. Recent productions include The (*) Inn at Abrons Arts Center, Uncle Vanya and The Tempest at HERE, Uriel Acosta: I Want That Man! at The Chocolate Factory and, most recently, Composition...Master-Pieces...Identity, a new solo performance piece from OBIE Award-winner David Greenspan at The Connelly Theater.
