The Storm Theatre in New York has announced The Ferenc Molnar Project.

During the next two seasons, Storm Theatre will stage three Molnar plays, the first being "The Play's The Thing" which will begin performances on September 20th at the Theatre of the Church of Notre Dame on Morningside Drive.

Next on tap will be "The Good Fairy" and the final is TBD.

In the spring of 2011, Storm Theater produced the critically acclaimed Molnar play "The President" , adapted by Morwyn Brebner. The Hungarian-born Molnar, in his life, was one of the world's most popular playwrights, beloved all over Europe and in the U.S. Although his name has largely been forgotten, Dobbins' says "his work's delightful combination of wit, warmth and wisdom has had a lasting impact upon both theatre and film. The Storm is delighted to bring about the new examination of this great playwright's work."

Casting will be announced shortly.
