Complete casting for Beautiful Soup's upcoming world premiere production of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars has been announced. Thia Stephan directs the production.

Previously announced Kimberly Faye Greenberg (Lift, One Night With Fanny Brice) will star as Lillian Hellman. She is joined by Maggie Wirth as Gertrude Stein, Penny Lynn White as Alice B. Toklas, Kim Rogers as Agatha Christie, Kristen Gehling as Muriel Gardiner and Morgan DeTogne (Lift, Liliom) as Bernadette. Celebrated Alabaman-stage actress Dorothy Weems, who is best known for her one-woman play set in 1940's Tangier, is making her New York stage debut as Dorothy Parker.

In this imagined meeting of the minds, Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas have invited playwright Lillian Hellman, satirist Dorothy Parker and novelist Agatha Christie to their country home in France on a cold March night in 1939. Tensions are high, the booze is flowing and Europe is on the brink of war. When a mysterious woman arrives and prompts their questions, the curious writers expose more of themselves than they've ever put on the page.

The limited engagement will play Roy Arias Stage II Theatre beginning April 23rd. Beautiful Soup is best known for reviving lost or oft-forgotten works, but occasionally presents workshops of new plays and musicals.

Tickets for the intimate production ($18) are available now at http://beautifulsoup.showclix.com . Performances at Roy Arias Stage II Theatre will take place Wednesday through Saturday at 7:00pm, with a 2:00pm matinee on Sunday, April 27th.
