Award-winning American Globe Theatre celebrates its 23rd season as Times Square's longest running classical theatre with the Bard's HAMLET. Artistic Director and Shakespearean author John Basil directs.

In Denmark, a king is dead. His brother, Claudius, has snatched the throne and the widowed queen. Life goes on for everyone it seems but Hamlet. The ghost of Hamlet's father appears and reveals that Claudius killed him by poison. The prince is then fixated on his uncle as the murderer and is charged by his father's ghost to avenge his death. While attempting to right what was wronged, he struggles under the weight of his task and becomes disconnected from the foul world around him. This is American Globe's first production of Hamlet in a decade. Come see Shakespeare's disturbing and psychological masterpiece, which delves into the enigma of a man's mind.
