Eric Krebs (in association with The Fortune Society) is pleased to announce that, due to popular demand, The Bullpen, the one-man - 18-character comedy - will continue its critically acclaimed run at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street - just east of Broadway) for an additional (8) eight weeks (through March 21) with a new performance schedule. After his release from Otisville Correctional Institution in October of 2013 after serving 12 of his 25 year sentence for attempted murder, actor/writer Joe Assadourian went from the cage to the stage after discovering his theatrical ability while reluctantly participating in a workshop behind bars led by Off-Broadway solo-show actor/director Richard Hoehler. Developed by the duo over two years, both inside and outside the state prison system, The Bullpen premiered Off Broadway on June 22, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement, but due to popular demand, the show was extended several times and will once again continue through March 21.

In The Bullpen, a man is arrested, arraigned and put on trial for a crime he claims he did not commit. Consequently he is judged by two systems of jurisprudence - one a jury of his peers in an actual courtroom and the other, the fascinating and hilarious denizens of the bullpen in which he is being held. Mr. Assadourian mercurially transforms from character to character and court to court as the play steamrolls toward both verdicts that literally range from the sublime to the ridiculous.

"We are thrilled at the response Joe continues to receive on a nightly basis," states Krebs. "The word on the street is that this is a 'not to be missed' show, so we needed to find a way to keep it going. As Brian Dykstra $elling Out is beginning performances next week, we thought it made perfect sense to have both of these talented men share their important messages on the same evening - a double one-man theatrical event."

Beginning Tuesday, January 27th, the new performance schedule will be: Tuesday & Wednesday @9pm & Saturday @4pm. Brian Dykstra $elling Out will play Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday @7pm & Saturday @2pm.

All tickets are $30 and can be purchased online at www.StepInTheBullpen.com or by calling Theatermania at 866-811-4111.
