The off-Broadway production of Vietnam...through my lens is holding a Veterans Day benefit on Tuesday, November 11. Tickets cost $50 for the 8 p.m. performance and a post-show reception, with partial proceeds benefiting the Fisher House Foundation, which aids veterans and their families.

Written and performed by Stu Richel, Vietnam...through my lens is about Richel's experiences as a combat photographer during the Vietnam War. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970, and in 1969 was a combat correspondent with the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. His solo play depicts one soldier's intimately personal and unique tale about friendships, trust and tenacity that travels from jungles of southeast Asia to the "jungle" of Manhattan.

Nelson, through November 23 at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 West 36th St. (between 8th and 9th Aves.). Showtimes are 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.
