Manhattan Theatre Club and JetBlue Airways have announced a new three-year partnership, making JetBlue "the official airline of Manhattan Theatre Club."

"Manhattan Theatre Club is thrilled with our new relationship with JetBlue," says Barry Grove. "This partnership is a natural fit.  Their user-friendly policies and their customer bill of rights are directly in line with how we at MTC like to treat our patrons – with respect and appreciation.  And, to a certain extent, we're both in the same business of bringing our customers to new and exciting worlds."

"Manhattan Theatre Club is a premier New York City organization that creates quality productions for the stage," says Tracy Sandford, Director of Advertising and Promotions for JetBlue Airways.  "We are pleased to support this dedication to creativity and excellence right here in our hometown.  Just as MTC pursues theatrical innovation, JetBlue continues to discover new ways to bring amenities and high service standards to the skies.  We anticipate great success working together."

"Under the leadership of Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and Executive Producer Barry Grove, MTC has become one of the country's most prominent and prestigious theatre companies. Renowned MTC productions include Doubt; Proof; The Tale of the Allergist's Wife; Yellowman; Kimberly Akimbo; Love! Valour! Compassion!; Sylvia; Four Dogs and a Bone; Putting It Together; Lips Together, Teeth Apart; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune; Crimes of the Heart; and Ain't Misbehavin'.  Last year MTC presented the world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole, which recently was awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  In 2003, MTC reopened Broadway's long neglected landmark Biltmore Theatre, following a two-year, $35 million capital campaign," as described in press notes.

"New York-based JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) has created a new airline category based on value, service and style.  Known for its award-winning service and free TV as much as its low fares, JetBlue is now pleased to offer customers the most legroom throughout coach (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch for U.S. airlines).  JetBlue is also America's first and only airline to offer its own Customer Bill of Rights, with meaningful compensation for customers inconvenienced by service disruptions within JetBlue's control.  Visit www.jetblue.com/promise for details.  JetBlue serves 54 cities with up to 575 daily flights.  With JetBlue, all seats are assigned, all travel is ticketless, all fares are one-way, and an overnight stay is never required."
