Tap dancing brothers John & Leo Manzari and MAURICE HINES TAPPIN' THRU LIFE musical director Sherrie Maricle and members of the Diva Jazz Orchestra will perform a late night "jam" session at El Original TXMX (730 10th Avenue at 50th Street) on Wednesday, February 24th beginning at 10:30pm, after TAPPIN' THRU LIFE concludes.

Last month's jam session was so successful that El Original TXMX has invited everyone back for a repeat appearance.

Any audience member presenting a ticket stub will receive their second drink on the house.

MAURICE HINES TAPPIN' THRU LIFE is a swinging, song and dance musical that celebrates the astonishing showmanship of one of the last great tap dancers of a by-gone era still working today and whose collaborators were a jaw-dropping, who's who of theatre, music, film and television. Co-starring the fierce tap dancing Manzari brothers and the all female vivacious Diva Jazz Orchestra, the show is directed by Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Deaf West's Big River, Grease). Performances are at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street). Visit www.TappinThruLife.com for additional information.

El Original TXMX, located at 735 10th Avenue (b/t 49th and 50th St. -- 1 block from New World Stages) is the automatic location for folks to gather, have a few delicious drinks, eat some comforting Tex-mex snacks, while listening to live music. Owners Michael Barrett (China Club, The Tippler bar) and Michael Ginsberg (Chelsea Market events, The Tippler bar, the Defibulators band) have spent much of their lives playing with/and surrounded by great friends and musicians.
