Labyrinth Theater Company Extends 100 (MONOLOGUES) Through 10/25

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director Mimi O'Donnell, Managing Director Danny Feldman), the award-winning, downtown ensemble, announced today that 100 (Monologues), written by and featuring Eric Bogosian, will play an additional five shows at the Bank Street Theater (155 Bank Street) LAByrinth Theater Company's home in New York City's West Village. Originally slated to end its run on Saturday, October 19, 100 (Monologues) will now close on Friday, October 25, 2013.

"Labyrinth is, and will always be, an artistic home for Eric, and this production has been another chance for us to explore and celebrate everything that makes his voice an undeniable force in the theatre," said Artistic Director Mimi O'Donnell. "We are thrilled to be able to offer more people the opportunity to see his work."

Beginning October 1, Eric Bogosian has been reading and performing selections from his new book, 100, which features one hundred monologues originally performed as part of his six Off-Broadway solo shows. The selections, which change nightly, include monologues from Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll,Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, and others. For these solo shows, which were originally performed Off-Broadway between 1980 and 2000, Bogosian was awarded three Obie Awards and a Drama Desk Award -- earning him living icon-status in the downtown theater scene.

Tickets for all performances, running from October 1 - 25, are $35, and can be purchased at www.labtheater.org.
