Colin Quinn Stars In Colin Quinn Long Story Short At Bleecker Street Theater Thru 8/15
Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and writer Colin Quinn will return to the New York City scene when he debuts his new one-man show "Colin Quinn Long Story Short" directed by Jerry Seinfeld. The show will play a limited engagement at Bleecker Street Theatre (located at 45 Bleecker Street between Bowery and Lafayette Street) for eight weeks only playing through Sunday, August 15th.
Comically channeling the demise of every great world empire, Colin Quinn takes the audience through an uproarious history of the world in 75 minutes. From his personification of Caesar as the original Italian mobster to his depiction of the pizza-ordering styles of imperialists and colonialists, Quinn is at his satirical best, taking on the attitudes, appetites and habits that toppled the world's most powerful nations. Colin Quinn Long Story Short proves that throughout human history, the joke has always been on us.
Running 75-minutes without an intermission, the show is produced by CQE LIVE, INC and features set and projection design by Aaron Rhyne, sound design by Scott Elmegreen, and lighting design by Perchik Kreiman-Miller.
The performance schedule will be as follows: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with matinees on Saturdays at 4pm.
Tickets prices begin at $65 and will be available through Telecharge (212-239-6200 or www.telecharge.com) and at the Bleecker Street Theatre Box Office (212-260-8250). "Day of Performance Student Rush" tickets offered with valid ID.
