 The 13th Street Repertory Company and Lauren M. Cavanaugh are proud to present Nunchuck Ninja Nuns, a newcomedy about how distorted reality is and the strangeness of living in a world with so many rules and so few morals.  Join Jesus, Mary, frat boys, zany psychologists, communist poets, and a habit of nunchuck-swingin nuns in their crusade to find enlightenment. Or at least a little sump'n sump'n. The show opens  Saturday March 29 @ 7PM. Performances are every Friday and Saturday at 7pm. Cast Members are Kalina Dalton, Katie Nelson-Croner, Errol W. Greaves, Danielle Newell, Ari Jacobson, Grace M. Trulli, Lindsay Johnston, and Frank Juste.Lauren Cavanaugh past writing credits include writng / producing her original play Substories for Theatrix! Festival 2006 for The Steinhardt School, NYU, which was staged at the Provincetown Playhouse. She recently directed The Atheists's Daughter by Danielle Newell for Bohemian Benders, a variety show at China Club, NYC. Her acting credits include playing the 'Ghost of Christmas Past' in A Christmas Carol and 'Rumplestiltskin' in Rumple Who? with the 13th Street Repertory Company. She has worked as a performer in stage shows for Frightfest at Six Flags New England and was an 'A Team' member of Revolution Improv Troupe, NYC. She has been a teaching artist with various theatre companies in New York, including Wingspan Arts, Periwinkle Theatre Co. and Arts To Grow. She received her MA in Educational Theatre at the Steinhardt School, NYU and her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from The Hartt School, University of Hartford.
