Rick Hilsabeck (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Kate Fisher (Les Mis), and Scott Barnhardt (Big River), will read "I Love You Madam President" for this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival. The show also features the talents of Jerry Coyle (Room Service), Ric Ryder (Blood Brothers), Christine Rowan and Elizabeth Polito (Beauty and the Beast) and is stage managed by Jessica Balvanz.

The show description is as follows: "Judith Carlin is the first female President of the United States. Her husband Daniel is the first First Gentleman. Will the first Firsts persevere through thick and thin, sickness and health, oval office romance and gun slinging goobernatorials? See how the votes add up in this new musical comedy that takes a good look at the ins and outs of politics in and out of the bedroom and the oval office!"

Matthew Hamel directs the production with music & lyrics by Phyllis Lynd, and a book by Phyllis Lynd and Martha Kearns. Additional dialogue is contributed by Soir Aniroc and Scott Tobin. Jaye Maynard and Sarah Melissa Rotker produce.

"Madam President" will play on Friday, September 26th at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Performances will take place at the 45th Street Theatre, and tickets are free and open to the public. Reservations can be made at www.nymf.org, or by calling 212-352-3101.
