From Katrinah Carol Lewis:

"I have loved the energy and spirit of TheatreLAB since their inception. I have been incredibly blessed to work with this team of talented, vibrant, creative artists as a performer on several occasions, so when Deejay asked me to join the staff in an official capacity, I had to say yes! I am excited to have a new platform to tell stories that engage and inspire this diverse community in creative ways. I look forward to being a part of a collective of artists committed to openhearted reflection on this beautiful complex world in which we live. Let's make theatre magic, RVA! See you at The Basement!"

From TheatreLAB Artistic Director, Deejay Gray:

"Katrinah Carol Lewis is one of Richmond's brightest treasures and I cannot begin to express just how thrilled and honored we all are to have her join the TheatreLAB family as our Associate Artistic Director. From her work with us on stage - who could forget her haunting portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill last fall? - to her work off stage as a director for our annual BlackList project, and the new artistic voice of The Cellar Series, Katrinah continues to amaze us with her talent, passion, and dedication. We can't wait to see just how bright Katrinah will shine in her new role as one of the leaders of Richmond's home for unexpected and evocative performance, TheatreLAB."
