New York City-based Enthuse Theater & Co. is an ensemble of multi – disciplined theater – makers who have come together to create site-specific work that sounds for evasive truths, starkly illuminates contradictions, and loosens the fetters on the imagination. Pushing the boundaries of the where, why, how and what of theater its work is exuberant, multimedia and respectfully irreverent. ORCHARD-LESS will take place today, November 14th through 17th.

Enthuse brings its second part of its triptych THE DECAY OF CITIES to the New Orleans Fringe Festival. ORCHARD-LESS examines the cultural, social, and structural decay in the United States since the beginning of the 21st century. Using archetypes found in works by Tennessee Williams ORCHARD-LESS creates a story that examines the lives of four young American who are dislocated, clinging futilely to ideas, acts and loves that no longer have a foundation in reality. The pieces explores the rage, frustration and acts of resilience that have been accumulating in our society over the last few decades.

Through the occupation of Dryades Performance Space Enthuse Theater will create an immersive performance and an atmosphere to encourage discourse, dialogue, and continued community once the performance has ended.

Dryades Performance Space is located at 1232 OC Haley Blvd. New Orleans, LA. For more information and tickets please visit www.nofringe.org.
