February: Tennesee Williams' CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF

Rehearsals for CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF are in full swing and we are excited about what we believe will be an amazing production of this classic play. With Ruth Markoe directing, this fine cast will bring this American classic to life on the Kelsey Theater stage in West Windsor NJ from February 5-15, 2015. Tennessee Williams' heart-wrenching drama examines the web of deceit holding a wealthy Southern family together while threatening to tear them apart. Over the course of one sultry Mississippi night, the characters' gentility disappears as accusations of greed, sexual desire, and dishonesty -- long repressed -- come to the fore. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play (Williams' self-proclaimed favorite) forces the audience and characters alike to determine what is truth, what is a lie, and which lies have become the truth

Robert Lanchester (Big Daddy), is featured by special arrangement with Actors' Equity Association. No newcomer to T2G. he has had a long and varied career both on and off Broadway, in film and in regional theater including many years with McCarter Theatre in Princeton. The talented and versatile Mariel Rosati (Maggie) is well known to audiences in NJ and PA and performed most recently in T2G/Pierrot's The 39 Steps. She followed that with a wonderful portrayal of Emily Roebling for T2G in Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge. l Ray Fallon (Brick), is new to T2G/Pierrot, but appeared in Much Ado About Nothing at Kelsey for Shakespeare 70. Tim Anderson (Gooper) has been working with T2G for several years starting with his acclaimed performance as Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman in 2012 followed by several other T2G shows ncluding Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge. Bill Walters (Rev.Tooker), is appearing in Pinnworth Productions' A Man for All Seasons in January, 2015. Kevin Hallam (Dr. Baugh) has appeared on the Kelsey Stage many times, most recently in The Mousetrap for M&M Productions. He has performed for T2G in Death of a Salesman and Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge. We welcome Lori Fabian (Big Mama) and Jackie Wasneski (Mae), in their first appearances with T2G/Pierrot. We are also pleased to have several wonderful child actors in the roles of the "no necked monsters". Welcome aboard, Maya Gunaseelan, William Alena, Ruth Learn, Michaela Meyer and Makenna Katz.

Ruth Markoe (Director) began TheaterToGo in 1992 and has been acting and directing for T2G and Pierrot Productions regionally and at Kelsey starting with Lend Me A Tenor 1995 up to last season's smash comedy The 39 Steps. T2G also brought Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge by Mark Violi to the New Jersey State Museum in 2014.In addition Ruth and T2G have brought Audience Participation Movie Musical Sing Alongs to Kelsey, including Annie, Grease, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and the ever popular Frozen , returning January 24, 2014 .

Pierrot Productions (Pete Labriola ) has been producing quality theater at Kelsey including last season's Carrie and The Great American Trailer Park Musical, this season's Secret Garden and will return in May for They're Playing Our Song.

We have a top notch creative team as well including Hannah Knight (Stage Manager), Jon Cintron (Asst. Stage Manager), Jim Petro (Set Design), Kitty Getlik (Lighting Design), Amy Besselieu (Props), and Ritzzy Productions (costumes) CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF is a co-production of THEATERTOGO and PIERROT PRODUCTIONS.
