It's here, and it's "AN ELLE OF A SHOW" (TIME). The hilarious MGM film is now a smash hit musical, and now Legally Blonde The Musical is coming to you. Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn't take "no" for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. After turning Broadway and MTV hot pink, this "Feel-Good Song and Dance Juggernaut" (New York Magazine) is "The Best New Musical Around!" (WOR). Please note there are no discounts for the Saturday, 6/5, evening performance, or select areas of the Orchestra for all performances.

"Cool tunes, manly grace, the scent of musk, and Gary Cooper getting in touch with his delicate side in High Noon-all rolled into one," says The New York Observer. "Wopat delivers more than we've seen on one cabaret stage in many a donkey's year. He is a real revelation."

Karen Akers is the embodiment of the sophisticated chanteuse-cool, statuesque, seductive, with a voIce That Vogue describes as "plush as black velvet." From the big-band flavor of early Styne hits like "It's Been a Long, Long Time" and "I've Heard That Before" to her personal take on timeless tunes from Gypsy, Bells are Ringing and Funny Girl, this is a match made in cabaret heaven. "Perfection!" says The New York Times. "Akers' voice has never been more lustrous or full-bodied, nor her expressive wingspan so wide."

Eric Michael Gillett
The Best of My Love
Saturday, March 6 at 7:00 & 9:30 * The Chase Room

He used to be the Ringmaster for Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus-so imagine the showmanship this MAC and Bistro Award winner brings to the cabaret setting.
