On Monday night, November 9, at 8:00pm, Mile Square Theatre joins theatres, libraries, and colleges nationwide in the simultaneous staged readings of The Other Woman, a full-length, one-act play adapted from five essays appearing in the bestselling anthology The Other Woman: Twenty-one Wives, Lovers, and Others Talk Openly About Sex, Deception, Love, and Betrayal. Co-producers Cynthia Comsky and Victoria Zackheim (anthology editor and playwright) have engaged the participation of artistic directors across the country, including experimental as well as traditional theaters, schools and libraries, reflecting the diversity of our population in the United States.

Mile Square Theatre's reading of the play will feature actors-many from Hoboken and affiliated with MST-who have worked on and off Broadway, in regional theatres, and in film and TV. The Other Woman will be directed by Ellen Lancaster with roles performed by Anne Brummel, Lisa Capps, Mara DeMay, Chase Leyner, and Sheilagh Weymouth. See bios below for the company's credits.

The Other Woman tells the stories of five women with very different viewpoints and experiences around infidelity. Authors whose work appears in the play are Hoboken resident Caroline Leavitt, Aviva Layton, Mary Jo Eustace, Connie May Fowler, and Maxinne Rhea Leighton.

The Mile Square Theatre reading is produced by MST Education Director Chase Leyner.
