According to showbiz411, John Cameron Mitchell and Darren Criss have made some updates to Hedwig and the Angry Inch to reflect the climate of the current election season. Throughout the show, Hedwig ad-libs and interacts with the audience, and on opening night of the tour at the Pantages in LA, Criss turned Hedwig's acerbic wit on Donald Trump.

"The guy with the Tic Tacs is stalking me on Grindr (a popular gay dating app) and wanting to grope me. Please leave me alone!" Hedwig began, later asserting, "If I wanted to see a mess in an L.A. theater, I could just see L.A. Theater."

Only Tuesday will tell what further updates might be made to Hedwig's fourth wall-breaking dialogue.

Darren Criss and Lena Hall star in the highly anticipated National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, reprising their critically-acclaimed performances. The show rolled out the pink carpet for its opening night at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles last. Check out all the brand new photos from opening night below!
