Nashville's Nutcracker Hosts Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Cast members from Nashville Ballet's production of Nashville's Nutcracker will officially kick off the holiday season tomorrow, Dec. 2, at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Beginning at 2 p.m., dancers, including the popular dancing bear will host the annual tree lighting ceremony, and will switch on the lights to the many trees lining the lobby of Children's Hospital. Dancers will also will read the story of the Nutcracker and treat patients and families to a short ballet performance.
