The Guthrie Theater Announces Line-up for Spring 2009
EXTREME KUSHNER WEEKENDSMinneapolis is the place to be during the weekends of May 22-24 and June 5-8, as the Guthrie celebrates the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner. These days are packed with productions on all three stages (including a world premiere), Saturday seminars, classes, Talk Abouts and speaking engagements. Though celebrated local Chef Tim McKee will take the reigns of the Guthrie's signature restaurant later this month, the restaurant is expected to close for 2 weeks in mid-June for a design overhaul to better mirror McKee's new sustainable seafood concept.
