The Waterville Opera House (WOH) is proud to present a holiday favorite on stage, A Christmas Story, the Musical! Based on the popular holiday movie, this charming musical adaptation follows the adventures of 9-year-old Ralphie Parker on his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts, an Official Red Ryder, carbine-action, 200-shot, Range Model air rifle. Rebuffed at every turn with a familiar response, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun.

The musical has been nominated for multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score, as well as multiple Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle Awards. Featuring a catchy, toe-tapping musical score that would please The Grinch himself, audiences are sure to enjoy holiday hits "It All Comes Down to Christmas," "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out," and "Ralphie to the Rescue."
