"We hold on, come hell or high water." Live Ink Theatre has announced a lively staged reading of "By The Water" written by award winning playwright Sharyn Rothstein and directed by Sinda Nichols.

A drama "with fierce compassion and poignant humor", "By The Water" tells the story of two families in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Winning rave reviews, this timely story reveals to us what's left when almost all has been destroyed. A play about fathers, sons, marriage, messing up, and what it means to be human.

Come see a stellar cast of actors from Fernandina Beach and Jacksonville (Steve Philips, Fran Hindsley, Doug McDowell, Lucas Hopper, Buffy Wells, Ron Price, Rachel Tyler) perform a riveting and inspiring story reminding us people are more important than things.

One performance only, at Amelia Musical Playhouse, 1955 Island Walkway, Fernandina Beach, on Sunday, February 12, 7 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students, cash, at the door. There will be a lively talk back with the director and cast immediately following the performance.
