Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, in association with The Artist Series, presents EB SCROOGE: A SOUTHERN FRIED CAROL, written and directed by local playwright Ian Mairs.

Based on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", the show will run Dec. 13-14 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. with American Sign Language interpreter; Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. at Florida State College at Jacksonville - South Campus' Wilson Center, 11901 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Fla.

Drop your British accent and leave your English spirits at home. Enter a world of grits and gravy, red velvet cake, and the ever-present glass of sweet tea. This modern spin on a timeless classic captures the sights and sounds of the American South via Jacksonville playwright and director Ian Mairs, while maintaining the spirit of Dickens' beloved tale of greed and redemption.

Tickets for Eb Scrooge cost $22.50 for Reserved Seating, $17.50 for Children, Seniors, and Military, and $12.50 for Florida State College at Jacksonville Students/Staff with valid ID.
