An energetic celebration of music, fashion and women, fusing comedic acts with unique renditions of beloved hits by music's female icons, including Aretha, Adele, Whitney, Beyoncé, and many more.

The show, written and directed by Meirav Zur, is produced by the English-language professional theater in Israel English On Stage, and has had full-house performances since its premiere in May 2015. Little Black Dress features an all-female professional production team hailing from the US, UK and Israel, as well as dynamic musicians on stage and specially designed dresses for the talented performers.

English on Stage was founded as a traveling professional theater in 2005 with its first original English-language children's play, "The Cuckoo Clock." The initial reactions everywhere were outstanding! Since then, English On Stage has developed its repertoire for a broader range of audiences in order to put the spotlight on quality original English-language theater in Israel. Today, English On Stage also proudly collaborates with other arts professionals and organizations, such as Habima National Theatre, in order to provide audiences with a greater variety of quality English-language theatrical productions.

Meirav Zur, English On Stage founder- Born and raised in the U.S., Meirav studied theater and education at Georgia State University and came to Israel to serve in the IDF. She has performed in numerous stage and film roles. Meirav founded the professional English-language traveling theater English On Stage in 2005, subsequently writing, directing, and acting in the original productions The Cuckoo Clock, New Neighbor, Music Evolution, Tom's Diner, and Little Black Dress.
Meirav is also part of the Maniact* improv ensemble, produces special English-language events such as the National Glee Plus Competition, and coaches unique workshops and classes.
