CWYT presents a double-bill of plays from the younger members. 'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare. Hamlet is the son of the late King Hamlet (of Denmark), who died two months before the start of the play. After King Hamlet's death, his brother, Claudius, becomes king, and marries King Hamlet's widow, Gertrude (Queen of Denmark). Young Hamlet fears that Claudius killed his own brother (Hamlet's father) to become king of Denmark, greatly angering Hamlet. What happens next is a tale of revenge, love and terror. 'The Children' by Edward Bond, Set in a late-21st-century apocalyptic landscape where human behaviour is monitored, living spaces are designated and where any emotional displays are immediately eradicated. In The Children a teenager's unquestioning loyalty to his mother has fatal consequences involving murder, abandonment and a quest. Edward Bond is "a great playwright - many, particularly in continental Europe, would say the greatest living English playwright" (Independent)

'Sixteen' is a multi-media production where sixteen teenagers with an average age of 16 years relate sixteen self-penned stories about their lives, loves and feelings about the world they live in. The stories are narrated, performed and with a live YouTube link up, projected to the audience. The stories will amuse, entertain, shock and probably annoy you. The stories may be true. The storytellers may be bloody liars. The play is like nothing you have seen before. 'Sixteen' is about the immediate, the now. It's about death and playing dead, life and playing at life, it's about the strange contact between performers on-stage and an audience caught between what they are watching and what they're being told.

After popular demand and two sell out shows in 2008, the Wexford School of Ballet and Modern Dance bring their Christmas spectacular back to the O'Reilly Theatre in the Wexford Opera House. The Nutcracker will run for two performances on December 5th, a matinee at 3pm, and an evening show at 8pm. It is advisable to pre-book your tickets as last year's performance sold out very quickly. This festive tale tells of young Clara, who is transported to the land of the Snowflakes and the Sweets, where she meets such characters as the Prince, the Spanish Doll, the Chinese Doll, the Arabian Doll, the Russian Doll and Little Bo-Peep. She also encounters the evil Rat King and his minions, but luckily all ends well in this, the quintessential Christmas Ballet ideal for all the family.
