Ireland's Abbey Theatre Opens B FOR BABY, 9/24

Ireland's Abbey Theatre has announced its October 2010 to March 2011 season. 

The season will begin with Carmel Withers's new play B FOR BABY, which will run from September 24 to November 6.

The next production will be Ibsen's John Gabriel BORKMAN, which will run from October 6 to November 20.  The production will star Lindsay Duncan, Fiona Shaw, and Alan Rickman

The Corn Exchange's play FREEFALL will run for thirteen performances from November 23 to December 4.

The Abbey Theatre's Christmas show will be ARRAH NA POGUE, which will run from December 15 to Februrary 5.  The play is comedic, romantic, and suitable for all ages.

Acrobat, clown, poet, and magician James Thiérrée will perform his show RAOUL from February 18 to 26.  He is one of Europe's outstanding circus artists.

Two new plays by Paul Morgan, THE PASSING and THE EAST PIER, will run in repertory from March 11 to April 16.  They will also play in double bills on Saturdays.

Tickets for all productions are on sale for members now.  They will go on sale to the general public on July 10.
