Cork's finest musical talent will be out in force for a major fundraiser on Thursday, 15th October 7pm at the CIT Cork School of Music.

The concert will feature singer-songwriter Jack O'Rourke, pop-groups Papertrail and Strange Attractor, Capella Lyrica (the School of Music's own chamber choir), The Academy of Pop Music faculty band, pianist Gary Beecher and friends.

This will be a spectacular evening of music-making with an eclectic mix of classical, pop and jazz sounds. With choreographed lighting and a poignant slideshow. This will be an imaginative emotional journey.

As a response to the current humanitarian crisis affecting Syrian refugees, the concert will be in aid of Cork-Calais, the nationwide group are transporting urgently needed supplies to the refugee camp in Calais. Cork-Calais are doing an incredible job in meeting the urgent need facing the refugees in Calais but desperately need your support.

Tickets €15 are available from Pro Musica Oliver Plunkett St., Cork or at l'Attitude on the corner of Union Quay and Anglesea St.
