Prabhakar sacrifices his love for Arundhati and sets her free to follow her ambition and goals in life. Both lead their own lives but remain single, and time flies. Thirty years later on a rainy night Prabhakar confronts Arundhati and appreciates her achievements in life and the price she paid. This is the ultimate tragedy of two broken hearts that pretend to be happy in the corner of their minds.

Loneliness is a very painful feeling. Being in a relationship does not always take away loneliness – it often causes it. Loneliness is the feeling we get in our heart and soul when we want to be connected with someone, and that someone is not available to connect with. How the celebration of an anniversary that bonds two souls can become a funeral is tackled with black humour in this play.
