Satyajit Talwalkar (Tabla)
Satyajit Talwalkar has had the privilege of studying tabla from a very young age with his father, the tabla maestro Suresh Talwalkar. Today he is recognized as a versatile solo player as well accompanist for vocal and instrumental music. Having performed in major festivals in India and overseas, he regularly participates in traditional music soirées and world music projects.
Rakesh Chaurasia (Bansuri)
Rakesh Chaurasia is a disciple and nephew of the legendary bansuri player Hariprasad Chaurasia. His profile as an instrumentalist representing younger generation ranges from performance in classical tradition to crossover collaborations with artistes worldwide. His recent venture is his fusion band, RAF, which creates music that appeals to the young without sacrificing the essence of classical music.
