Artists and creative entrepreneurs are invited to attend a Business Plan Clinic and Workshop on Saturday, June 24th from 9 AM - 2 PM at ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.

The Business Plan Clinic, which is presented by Broward Cultural Division, the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Fort Lauderdale and ArtServe, will guide participants through the process of producing a simple business plan, an essential tool for any artist. Participants will also learn how to effectively work with lenders to obtain financial support for their ventures, and network with alumni of the Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute.

The workshop will be facilitated by George Gadson and Rafael Cruz of the SBDC. Keith Costello, CEO with First Green Bank will lead the session on working with lenders. Johanne Pradel Wilson, Co-Founder of COOL Creative, will discuss Developing a Brand for Artists.

This event is open to all artists and creative entrepreneurs. Attendance at the workshop is also highly recommended for artists and alumni of the Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute. Seating is limited and RSVP is required.
