The next reading in the Center Stage Jackson series is AGNES OF GOD, a play written by John Pielmeier. A novice nun (Carly Ann Jacobs) gives birth and insists that the child was the result of a virgin conception. A psychiatrist (Mary Lou Blanchard) and the mother superior of the convent (Candi Dunnigan) clash during the resulting investigation. The story is based on a real life incident. Directed by Ann Holt, the reading will take place at the Ensemble Theatre - Art 634, 634 Mechanic St., Jackson, MI 49203 on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm. There is no charge but donations are welcome.
