PETER PAN

Fly away with us to Neverland for a swashbuckling epic tale that delivers non-stop action, spell binding music and stunning choreography. A story so magical it actually takes flight! July 9-21

DEATHTRAP

Starring Barn Favorite and Emmy nominee Robert Newman of TV's Guiding Light in Ira Levin's DEATHTRAP. Holding the record for the longest running comedy-thriller on Broadway, this Tony Award-winning play is truly diabolical. A once renowned mystery writer will stop at nothing to return to fame. When a brilliant script ends up on his desk a series of twists and turns begin that will or may only leave one man standing.

July 23-August 4

Based on the Disney Story

TARZAN

Barn Theatre debut!

Based on Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes and the smash-hit 1999 Disney animated film, TARZAN tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa. Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness. When a human expedition enters their territory, Tarzan - now a man - encounters strangers like himself for the first time. TARZAN features music and lyrics by pop icon Phil Collins, including the Grammy and Oscar winning song, "You'll Be in My Heart", and book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly). *The Backstage Xperience (see below)

August 6-18

Dreamworks'

SHREK THE MUSICAL

Barn Theatre debut!

SHREK THE MUSICAL tells the story of a swamp-dwelling ogre who goes on a life-changing adventure to reclaim the deed to his land. Joined by a wise-cracking donkey, this unlikely hero fights a fearsome dragon, rescues a feisty princess and learns about real friendship and true love in this gaseously hysterical, unexpected fairytale. SHREK THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole), music by Olivier Award-winner Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Caroline, or Change). *The Backstage Xperience (see below)

August 20-September 1

Mel Brooks' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

Barn Theatre debut!

The crazy comic genius of Mel Brooks ("The Producers") comes ALIVE in this outlandish laugh-riot of a musical! Adapted from the hilarious film of the same name, this Tony-nominated show breathes new schtick into the franchise, thanks to expanded scenes and new gags. With such classy numbers as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," it's easy to see why Newsday called the Broadway production "a blissfully funny monster mash." At the Barn Theatre, this science experiment gone horribly wrong has never felt so monster-ously right. PG-13 *The Backstage Xperience (see below)
