The Reedy Point Players are gearing up to present their Halloween themed play, The Woman In Black, written by Stephen Mallatrat, based on the novel by Susan Hill and directed by Gail Wagner, opening next weekend!

The show focuses on an older Kipps as he persuades a young actor to help him tell the story of the 'Woman in Black', hoping that this will help him to move on from those events and exorcise the ghost. The play unfolds around the conversations of these two characters as they act out the solicitor's experiences on Eel Marsh all those years ago.

Playing for one weekend only, performances will be on October 24, 25, and 26 at 8 PM. Box office opens at 7:30 PM. Due to dark subject material and scenes of horror, the Reedy Point Players feel this show is not recommended for children ages 12 and under. Throughout the show they offer a fully stocked concession stand and raffle opportunities - all proceeds benefit the Reedy Point Players for their expenses including costumes, props, utilities, royalties, advertising, storage, etc.

The Woman In Black will be performed at the Delaware City Community Center, 250 Fifth Street, Delaware City, DE 19706. Tickets are $12 (adults), $10 (senior, student, active military), and $5 (child - ages 10 and under).

Tickets are CASH ONLY at the door. No checks, credit/debit cards, etc. will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS! Tickets can be purchased in advance via http://reedypointplayers.ticketleap.com/woman-in-black/ All advance tickets will receive 3 raffle tickets for every "Woman in Black" ticket that is purchased. They can pick their raffle tickets up at the Box Office before the performance.
