The Zoot Theatre Company, Dayton's professional puppet and mask company, is presenting their latest original work, GOBLINS, at The Yellow Cab Tavern (700 E 4th St Dayton, Oh) on Oct 10th. Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 if you come in a Halloween costume!

Sure to be a blast for parents as well as their children, GOBLINS is the story of an independent princess named Irene, her fearless friend Curdie and their adventures while exploring the underground caverns of the goblin king. Based on the 19th centuries novel The Princess and the Goblin by George Macdonald about whom C.S. Lewis wrote, "I have never concealed the fact that I regarded him as my master; indeed I fancy I have never written a book in which I did not quote from him." Come see the latest creation from the company that the Dayton Daily News calls, "Unique and Inventive." "Wonderfully inventive and imaginative," says the Dayton Most Metro and The City Paper says, "(ZTC's) focus is intensely creative and purposeful. Art is primary." There will also be a costume contest starting at 5pm to be judged by a panel of puppets. What could be more fun than that? Doors open for costume contest at 5:30p Show begins at 6:30p Running time approx 1 hr. Directed by Tristan Cupp Written by Aaron Vega Music by Rick Good
