The fall 2018 season of Shakespeare in the Park will perform Othello, a classic drama about a noble general whose life and marriage are sabotaged by theater’s most infamous villain. In Shakespeare Dallas’ rendition, Othello is set amid war and palace intrigue in the early 20th-century Mediterranean region. The performance will be directed by Mason York.
This season’s Othello will also boast scenes directed by Chicago-based Rachel Flesher, a combat choreographer who will direct the various fight scenes in the performance.
