Rover Dramawerks will present the classic romantic comedy Same Time, Next Year by Bernard Slade. This production is the first of two additional shows to their originally announced Fourteenth Season and will be performed at their new theatre venue in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. The plot of Same Time, Next Year revolves around George (played by Matthew Stepanek) and Doris (played by Jennifer Duggins), who meet by chance at an inn in 1951. Despite being married to others, they begin a tumultuous but deep love affair, meeting one weekend a year for the next 25 years.

Stan Kelly serves as director, with Darcy Koss as Stage Manager. Set design is by Kaori Imai with lighting design by Jack Piland and sound design by Jason Rice. Costumes are by Stephen Wantland, hair and make-up are by Roxi Taylor, and props are by Danielle Vance.
