YOUR PALACE YOUR PLACE Radio Show to Return Next Month

The fourth season of the Palace Theater's radio program "Your Palace Your Place" heard over WATR 1320 AM, resumes on Friday September 4 with a special edition of the show featuring an in-depth interview with the incomparable Johnny Mathis.

Mathis, who will be performing at the venue Saturday September 10 at 8:00pm,

has had a remarkable sixty-year career that has earned him countless industry accolades and awards. During the interview, he will share his thoughts on a number of topics including his career's longevity, why he has been able to maintain the vigorous touring schedule that he does and his inimitable voice.

"Your Palace Your Place" is broadcast from 9:10 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the first and third Friday of each month and is produced and hosted by Palace Marketing and Public Relations Officer Sheree Marcucci. The show offers listeners a place for engaging conversation on the arts, pop culture, entertainment and lifestyle trends.

The Palace's primary purpose is to revitalize the Greater Waterbury community through the presentation of the performing arts and educational initiatives in collaboration with area cultural and educational institutions. Its mission is to preserve and operate the historic Palace Theater as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences.
