Windham Theatre Guild's THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY to Open 9/18

The Windham Theatre Guild continues their 2015-2016 Season with the fast-paced comedy The Fox On The Fairway...opening September 18th at the Burton Leavitt Theatre.

This is a tribute from Broadway's reigning comic writer Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s. The Fox On the Fairway takes you on a hilarious romp that pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers' classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with... golf.

Laura LaCour is Directing this wonderful production. Most recently seen as singer Patsy Cline in the past WTG production of Always, Patsy Cline, Laura is glad to go back to directing. She was the creative force behind Aida, I Hate Hamlet, The Complete Works of William Shakepeare, Educating Rita, God of Carnage, and Shrek.

The Fox On The Fairway runs September 18th, 19th, 25th, & 26th at 8:00pm, Thursday September 24th at 7:30pm, and Sunday Matinees on September 20th and 27th at 2:00pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic. Ticket prices are $19 for Adults, $16 for Students/Seniors, and $12 for children under 12. All UCONN, ECSU & QVCC students pay the discounted price of $14. Group discounts are also available. Anyone who buys a ticket at the door on Thursday, September 24th will pay the kid's price of just $12. This special offer does NOT apply to tickets reserved in advance.
