Oh, What a Night!- WTG Broadway Chorus Concert
Friday, April 29th & Saturday, April 30th at 7:30 pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre

Join the Windham Theatre Guild on April 29 & 30 at the Burton Leavitt Theatre for a delightful evening of Broadway music. ‘‘Oh, What A Night' is a great name and an apt description of the 2011 Windham Theatre Guild Broadway Chorus show that we have planned for you. We have chosen our music from 4 terrific shows, all which have won the ‘Best Musical of the Year' Tony Award, to create a truly outstanding musical experience that spans 45 years of Broadway excellence. We begin our show with 1965's Fiddler On The Roof, winner of 9 Tony Awards and the first show to surpass 3,000 performances on Broadway. ‘Tradition', ‘Sunrise, Sunset', and ‘To Life' are among the familiar songs of this musical. In 1985's Big River, Roger Miller brings to life Mark Twain's classic tale, Huckleberry Finn. Songs including ‘The Boys', ‘Do Ya Wanna Go To Heaven', ‘Waitin' For The Light To Shine' will bring you the unmistakable Americana experience that Twain and Miller are famous for. Next up is 2006's Jersey Boys, one of the hottest tickets on Broadway for the last 5 years. ‘Sherry', ‘Big Girls Don't Cry', ‘Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You', and ‘Let's Hang On' are among the songs that will take us back to the 1960's sound of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. We complete our show with the incredible music of the longest running Broadway Musical in history, 1988's Phantom Of The Opera.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors (60+) and $5 for children under 12. For more information or to reserve tickets call 423-2245.

WTG Youth Chorus Spring Concert

This year's event features a short show as well as the popular solos, duet and small group numbers that audiences have become accustomed to. Once again under the direction of John Hinckley, the concert showcases the talents of the kids with singing, dialogue and clever choreography. It promises to deliver an evening of great music and lots of fun. Please join us as the youngest members of the WTG have their night in the spotlight.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and will be sold at the door.
